The fuel tank is a vital part for the Mercury-Atlas rocket to reach orbit, fitting more fuel than both the capsule adapter and engine adapter combined. It holds up to 72 tons of fuel, with its total mass being 80 tons.

Trivia[]

It is currently the tallest fuel tank in the game, standing at 14.5 meters tall and 3.5 meters wide.
It has a quite unusual width, with its edges covering one-half of a square. This feature is sometimes exploited to move parts by 0.25m, which is normally not possible without BP editing.
