You can help improve this page by clicking this.Building your first rocket starts in the build editor. You can get there by simply pressing Build New Rocket or Build Rocket on the main menu. In the editor you have six or ten categories of different parts:
- Basics (contains a parachute, capsule, heat shield, 4 basic engines, fuel tanks, separators, parachutes, cones and landing legs)
- 6 Wide (contains 6 wide separators, nose cones, heat shields and fuel tanks)
- 8 Wide (contains 8 wide separators, nose cones, heat shields and fuel tanks)
- 10 Wide (contains 10 wide separators, heat shields and fuel tanks)
- 12 Wide (contains 12 wide separators, heat shields and fuel tanks. These are the largest parts you can have)
- Aerodynamics (contains different types of nose cones, parachutes, and fins)
- Fairings (contains different types of fairings and fairing cones)
- Structural (contains different sizes of struts)
- Other (contains uncategorized parts)
- More Parts... (clicking it will take you to the Parts Expansion screen; this tab only shows when you don't have the Parts Expansion)

- You can also rotate/flip parts to build more detailed rockets.
- You can box select multiple parts by long pressing the build area (which has no parts in it) and boxing the parts you want to select.
- You can select multiple parts at a time and perform editing operations on multiple parts.
- You can use symmetry to enhance your building experience.
- You can launch your rocket via pressing the Launch button.
- You can save and load rocket blueprints.
- You can clear the building space.
- You can move your rocket by clicking "Move Rocket" button.
- You can upload and download other rockets.
