This part was removed in a recent update, and is no longer in the game.
Fairing adapters are two removed parts. They both have a trapezium shape and comes in two sizes. The original use of both parts is to connect fairings of different sizes together.
Like the Fuel Adapter, these parts were deemed obsolete and were removed in version 1.4, with the introduction of parts that can adapt to each other without additional parts.
