Here is a list of game modes available in the current version of Spaceflight Simulator (1.5.10.2)

Classic[]

Default mode; has all default additions if DLCs are not purchased. On Steam/PC, all components and DLCs are unlocked. Known as "Sandbox Mode" on the Steam/PC version, not to be confused with the other Sandbox Mode, PC's Sandbox Mode is the exact same as "Classic Mode."

Career[]

Main article: Career Mode

Implements a tech tree and developmental stages. Players are to unlock components by completing missions. Adds the Peregrine Engine and Solid Rocket Boosters. Can be accessed by naming a world "Test Career." On Steam/PC Career, can be accessed by setting the mode to 1 in the world file.

Hard[]

Hard mode is classic mode but all values upscaled slightly.

Challenge[]

Challenge mode is classic mode but without ion engines or cheats.

Realistic[]

Classic mode but upscaled so that all values are near or identical to those found in real life.

Sandbox[]

Sandbox Mode is similar to Career Mode, with a difference: all the parts are unlocked and you can freely do all the missions.

Accessing it is easy — First, make a world, next open it in a directory: Android/data/com.StefMorojna.SpaceflightSimulator/files/Saving/Worlds/My World, then change the game mode variable to 2
