The Hub is the combinations of the buildings Mission Center, Research and Development and the VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building). It was added in the update 1.5.6.
At the Hub, there is some buttons like tutorials, achievements and the Research and Development, which is the building that was incorporated into the Hub, among two others.
As of now, the Hub looks much like the real-life Vehicle Assembly Building in the Kennedy Space Center.
