This is a kind of Multistage rocket that uses stages that are designed to stay in orbit for later use.
There are new rockets with designs like this other than some rockets shown in the ROL Challenge despite SFS having a larger community and the fact that Docking Ports a part needed for this kind of stage is now fully accessible nowadays
History[]
The first SFS Stage designs like this date all the way back to July 18, 2018, which are mainly caused by the ROL challenge.
