Launch pad on earth

The launch pad (or sometimes called launchpad) is a special area where rockets are placed after clicking "Launch" in the Vehicle Assembly Building. Once the game has loaded the rocket, it puts the designated rocket onto the launch pad. Meanwhile, all other rockets placed in the launch pad within 6 meters/20 feet (from the centre) will be removed automatically.

In career mode, the launch pad is used to resume the game.

Structure[]

The launch pad is a smooth gray trapezium-shaped artificial structure. The slopes of it are in a 20 degree angle. At the left of the launch pad the ground is filled with cement with the buildings on it.

Location[]

The launch pad is located on Earth, but it can be changed with Planet Editing

Activities[]

The launch pad has no launch tower, that means you can build a launch tower artificially. You can also build a launch complex. You can launch Earth rovers and do a rocket race if you are bored.

There are more activities to do than those mentioned above, like building missiles, cars and boats, etc..

Rocket placement[]

After you built your rocket, and press Launch, the game loads the rocket in the center of the launch pad. Meanwhile, rockets placed within 6 meters from the center of the launch pad will be removed to provide space for the rocket to launch safely without debris in its field.

Career mode[]

Currently the launch pad is used to resume gameplay.
