A launch window in LEO.

Low Earth Orbit (LEO) is a kind of Earth orbit. In-game, any orbit around Earth is considered LEO regardless of orbital trajectory, velocity, altitude, as long as the entire orbit is above the Karman Line. This is opposed to the normal classification of orbits such as MEO and HEO.

This orbit is easily reachable, due to its low Delta-v requirements. It usually takes two or three rocket stages to reach LEO. See building orbital rockets for more information.
