The Solar System is the main and only star system in Spaceflight Simulator. It has a star, five planets and seven moons. The system is heavily based on the real-life Solar System with some differences. It is in 1:20 scale.

The in-game Solar System has fewer planets than the real one, noticeably: Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and their moons are missing, though they are planned in future updates or can be also present in the planet expansion pack. It is also known that the celestial bodies in-game are scaled down from the real life counterpart by 1:20.
