A spacecraft is a vehicle in space. They can be a space station, a satellite, a lander, a probe or a rover.
Types of spacecraft[]
Satellites[]
Satellites are spacecraft that can study a planet or moon. They can also bring navigational systems (such as GPS) and Internet.
Landers[]
Landers are spacecraft that can land on a celestial body's surface to study a celestial body's surface and atmosphere more.
Rovers[]
Rovers are spacecraft that can drive a celestial body's surface.
Space stations[]
Space stations are spacecraft that can contain multiple space modules connected to each other and some astronauts inside.
Space probes[]
Space probes can study any celestial body to learn more about it. They usually make a fly-by of it or orbit and land on it.
Surface base[]
Surface bases are structures on a celestial body. Just like a space station, they have multiple habitation modules where the astronauts can live in and some launch and landing bases where rockets can land in and greet new astronauts to the base.
