Staging is a method of manipulation of multiple parts at once.
It can help the player to control the multiple parts selected that needed to control in the order it set up.

In the Steam version, the key to activate a stage is Enter.

How to use staging?[]

To add staging in a rocket, click the |1||2| button, press the + button then select a part to be activated. To add more stages in the staging menu, click the + button, and organise them in the way the order you wanted. You can also press and hold one stage then drag it in the desired place when it's in the wrong spot. You can even duplicate stages.

Trivia[]

  • Staging 3

    Example of hidden parts

It was originally said in the now obsolete Future Updates page that it will be added in the 1.5.1 update, but it was added in a later update (1.5.2).
  • You can select a part (example: engine) and then put it inside a part. However, it cannot be activated anymore by covering it by Fairings and/or Fuel Tanks
